Future Food Entrepreneurs' Lab
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Meeting the UN SDGs could not only help to transform the current food system but also create innovation opportunities worth US$200 billion for the European business sector in agrifood by 2030 (BSDC, 2016).
During the session, we will unfold SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production), discuss game-changing solutions to transform the food system, and ideate together to find innovation opportunities. The participants will have a chance to meet like-minded people, get a better understanding of food system challenges, and get inspired by engaging in ideation activities.
Participants who would like to pursue their ideas further will receive support from EIT Food Hub in Latvia and apply for the international EIT Food programs.
