Festival "Icebreakers'20", which is organized by the University of Latvia, will gather a significant amount of Latvian and foreign students and aims to inspire by the experience shared from other universities, successful entrepreneurs, and strong leaders.
We have left summer solstice in our rearview mirror and that means there are only 3 months left till our annual festival "Icebreakers'20". We've already achieved so much and want to share the good news with you!
The year 2020 has brought us many changes and challenges, but we don't stop! And never will. This year the festival will be much bigger in scale and a heck of a lot more inspiring. We are tremendously happy to announce our first participants which means diversity in our agenda, exciting talks and discussions and of course wider possibilities for students to engage and network.
We can confidently say that you will have a chance to meet the biggest Latvian universities: University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Riga Stradins University, Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, BA School of Business and Finance, Latvian Academy of Culture, "RISEBA" University of Business, Arts and Technology, Turība University. And they're big. Trust us.
This year we put on our big girl (and boy) pants and have started to collaborate with the most notable Lithuanian universities, therefore we are happy to see as our participants Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius University and Magnus Vytautas University.
Cooperation with foreign universities lets us move towards our goal to be the leading business opportunity festival for students and young professionals in Northern Europe. That means not only more students but also academic personnel, researchers, industry professionals, and companies participate and see how important it is to show the best practice for all the active young people. And YES! That means YOU! From now on that is how we are going to play - more attention to entrepreneurship development in Latvia and the region by increasing our competitiveness and knowledge. The festival is an important place where everyone can meet and start a joint dialogue, ideation, and team building. It is a great platform for students and young professionals to find other opportunities to prove themselves outside their studies or work, meet other young people and learn new skills which will be useful further down the road, therefore everyone is welcome to participate in the festival as the entrance is free of charge.
Is there more that needs to be said?
