Linda Daniela
Linda Daniela is a professor and senior researcher, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art, and the Chair of the Council for PhD Defence in Educational Sciences at the University of Latvia. She also serves as an Expert in Education at the Council of Sciences of the Republic of Latvia. Her expertise spans Technology enhanced learning, Smart Pedagogy, Virtual Education, Smart Education, Digital Learning Materials, Educational technologies for learning, Educational robotics, Educational processes and solutions for reducing social exclusion from the educational processes, and Behavioral problems. Professor Daniela is an author and co-author of more than 80 publications about processes in all dimensions of education. She has been involved in more than 30 research projects.
Audrone Telesiene
Dr. Audrone Telesiene is a professor in sociology and communication science at Kaunas University of Technology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, research group "Civil Society and Sustainability". Dr. Audrone Telesiene gives lectures and conducts research on environmental behaviour and attitudes, social perceptions of climate change, environmental and technological risk perceptions, risk communication, sustainable development and welfare studies. Since 2018 she is the director of KTU Center for Data Analysis and Archiving (DAtA center). She has previously served as acting head of Institute of Public Policy and Administration and Institute of Europe at Kaunas University of Technology. In 2019 Telesiene has been elected as chair of research network on 'Environment and Society' in European Sociological Association. Dr. Telesiene has worked as a senior project researcher for a number of research programs such as the European Social Survey (ESS) and the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP). Since 2017 she led a research project on social perceptions of climate change in Lithuania, as funded by the Lithuanian Research Council. Currently she is a leader of KTU team in H2020 project "ECIU University Research Institute for Smart European Regions" (SMART-ER), a national representative at MC in COST Action "European Network for Environmental Citizenship", and a KTU team leader for Swedish Institute funded project "Baltic Sea Region Climate Change Curriculum". Dr. Telesiene serves as expert evaluator for European Science Foundation, Irish Research Council, Research Council of Lithuania and is member of editorial board in several academic Taylor&Francis journals: "Environmental Sociology" and "International Journal of Sociology".
Dovydas Matuliauskas
Dovydas Matuliauskas is the CFO and co-founder of Ligence, a MedTech startup company that develops AI solutions in healthcare. Dovydas is a 5th year med student at Vilnius University, and his interests are radiology, radiomics, medical devices, and AI applications in medicine.
Janika Leoste
Janika Leoste is a PhD candidate at the School of Educational Sciences of Tallinn University (Estonia). Since 2021 she is also a Business Collaboration and Innovation Chief Specialist and Junior Researcher in Educational Robotics in School of Educational Sciences in Tallinn University. Her research includes the sustainability of technology enhanced educational innovations and didactics on STEAM teaching in all stages of education, including using robot integrated learning in early childhood and primary education.
Charles Bušmanis
Swiss-French now Latvian designer, Charles Bušmanis has been sharing his knowledge on design since 2012, when he co-founded cRaZy BrAiNsTorM, a company utilising design thinking methodology and a human center approach to address challenges SME (MVU) and large companies face. Since then he has been applying his skills all through Europe from Netherlands to Finland to finally settle in Cesis where together with his partner in design and life they run the design firm "design elevator", supporting and elevating their clients ideas since 2017.
Mikus Krams
Mikus is the director of finance at Lokalise, a Latvian translation software startup. He has previously worked as an Investment Manager at iTech Capital, a $200m growth investor, and at Arma Partners, leading European mid-market M&A adviser for tech companies based in London. Mikus has a MSc in Finance and Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management.
Mārtiņš Zemītis
Mārtiņš Zemītis is the Deputy Head of European Commission Representation in Latvia. Prior professional engagements include the European Parliament, Latvian Parliament, World Bank, World Trade Organization, Ministry of Regional Development. Researcher on investment, trade and monetary policy at Oxford University (UK) and Hoover Institution (USA). Educated at Stanford University (USA) and Riga Graduate School of Law (Latvia). Awarded Top Young Person of Latvia Prize in 2018.
